In this session opener, we will present awards for the Programming Hackathon 2016 – Innovation around Smart Cities as well as recognize our PI Square/PI Developers Club Allstars. We then will provide a roadmap for PI System Developers and Technical Users with updates to our Partner Program and highlights of the day’s Product Tracks and TechLabs.
Richard BeesonRichard is responsible for the overall PI System Architecture, aligning business and technology to deliver products and services for exceptional customer value and experience. He leads OSIsoft’s cross departmental Strategic Planning Group helping shape the long term product vision and strategy. He also sponsors OSIsoft’s Research and Innovation efforts, designed to keep OSIsoft’s engineers and technology leading edge, maintaining our role as a pathfinder. Richard routinely engages with strategic customers and partners as well with advisory boards across the business and technology community. Richard joined OSIsoft in 1990 as a Software Engineer. Richard holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ahmad FattahiAhmad Fattahi’s mission is to enable a global community of software developers to extend and build applications for the PI System. To that end, he leads a diverse group of development support engineers and the accompanying program, PI Developers Club. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 2008. Since then, he has been with OSIsoft where he is currently the Group Leader for Development Support.
